\u201cMalaysia has the opportunity to lead in the digital economy by embracing blockchain and tokenized financial systems,\u201d said Anwar during the meeting. His vision includes deploying blockchain technology not only in finance but also in public services and infrastructure, signaling a long-term commitment to digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CZ, who has been instrumental in global blockchain expansion through Binance, expressed optimism about Malaysia\u2019s proactive approach. He acknowledged the country’s potential to become a leader in responsible blockchain adoption and a magnet for global Web3 talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conversation also explored the tokenisation of real-world assets and the development of cross-border blockchain applications areas Malaysia is keen to explore further as part of its innovation roadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This strategic meeting follows Anwar\u2019s earlier discussions with UAE leaders regarding crypto-friendly regulations, reinforcing his commitment to aligning Malaysia with international standards in the digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
