This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armed-services.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/fy25_ndaa_committee_report.pdf\"><u>recommendation<\/u><\/a>, part of the fiscal year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) report issued on July 9, 2024, marks a significant step towards modernizing defense infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s what we know:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee&#8217;s primary focus is on leveraging blockchain to bolster supply chain management, improve data integrity, and strengthen cybersecurity measures. Recognizing the technology&#8217;s potential to create tamper-proof, transparent systems, the Senate believes blockchain could revolutionize how the DoD secures its operations against emerging threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has been tasked with providing a comprehensive briefing by April 1, 2025.
