This move underscores the city&#8217;s ambition to position itself as a global hub for digital asset innovation while ensuring proper oversight and investor protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s what we know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The newly formed subcommittee, announced by Legislative Council member Johnny NG Kit-Chong, will focus on developing comprehensive policies and regulations for both Web3 and virtual assets.
