However, the real game-changer might be Hong Kong&#8217;s potential adoption of an &#8220;in-kind&#8221; redemption model for these ETFs, which differs markedly from the cash creation models used in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s what we know:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach, as highlighted by <a href=\"https:\/\/blinks.bloomberg.com\/news\/stories\/SAXC28DWLU68\"><u>Bloomberg Intelligence analysts<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;and Digital asset management firm <a href=\"https:\/\/investor.galaxy.com\/news\/news-details\/2024\/Galaxy-Announces-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2023-Financial-Results\/default.aspx\"><u>Galaxy Digital<\/u><\/a>, &nbsp;represents a notable shift in how Bitcoin ETFs could operate. Unlike the U.S. model, where cash is exchanged for ETF shares, Hong Kong&#8217;s model would allow Bitcoin to be directly exchanged for ETF shares.
