In 2023, they netted an impressive $1.15 billion, securing the fourth position in global earnings, just behind the U.S., the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s what we know:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This data, revealed by the New York-based blockchain research firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chainalysis.com\/blog\/cryptocurrency-gains-by-country-2023\/\"><u>Chainalysis<\/u><\/a>, showcases a resilient interest in cryptocurrencies within China despite stringent governmental crackdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The global crypto market experienced a notable recovery in 2023, with total investor gains reaching $37.6 billion. This marked a significant rebound from the losses witnessed in the previous year, although it still falls short of the staggering $159.7 billion earned during the 2021 bull run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crypto earnings maintained stability throughout 2023 until a dip occurred in August and September. However, the final months of the year saw a sharp increase, with November and December showcasing the highest earnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The United States led the pack with crypto investors earning around $9.36 billion, followed by the UK, where investors pocketed approximately $1.39 billion.
