{"id":2965,"date":"2024-08-09T10:44:03","date_gmt":"2024-08-09T10:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blockwind.news\/china\/2024\/08\/09\/nft-infrastructure-company-gomu-closes-5m-seed-round\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T19:02:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T19:02:11","slug":"nft-infrastructure-company-gomu-closes-5m-seed-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blockwind.news\/china\/2024\/08\/09\/nft-infrastructure-company-gomu-closes-5m-seed-round\/","title":{"rendered":"NFT Infrastructure Company Gomu Closes $5M Seed Round"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">October 17, 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Anjali Kochhar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-fungible token (NFT) infrastructure company Gomu has closed a $5 million seed round, the company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gomu.co\/blog\/gomu-raises-5-million-to-power-nft-liquidity-incentives-and-commerce\">announced<\/a>&nbsp;Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded earlier this year, Gomu has launched two products, NFT Hub and Collection.xyz, which make it easier to grow NFT communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NFT Hub provides a customizable community hub and marketplace to NFT projects, allowing startup collections to build an online space for their holders more easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNFT communities can create custom marketplaces and token-gated communities in minutes, all without having any prior experience with blockchain technology,\u201d said Gomu in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gomu\u2019s other product, Collection.xyz, is a liquidity incentive protocol that makes NFTs more tradeable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yang and co-founder Jeremy Seow both previously worked at token data website CoinMarketCap, and also had stints at crypto firms Coinbase and Chainlink, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;NFTs&#8217; large potential for real-world impact can only be realized if the surge of industry interest is paired with the right infrastructure to support that growth,\u201d said Chris Sirise, Partner of Saison Capital, in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe believe Gomu\u2019s NFT Hub and Collection products are the rails required for a great end-to-end Web3 experience for communities and collectors in the space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the global NFT market expected to grow from USD 3.0 billion in 2022 to USD 13.6 billion by 2027 at 35% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), the convergence of the digital and physical worlds will continue to take shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As demand for digital arts and the adoption of cryptocurrencies continue to grow across the world, non-fungible items will make up a larger asset class than fungible items in society.
