Giveth, a new community focused on building the future of giving using blockchain technology, is uniting technology and philanthropy to generate impact through blockchain. The project aims to make the process of donations transparent and fruitful for both ends.

The intention of the project is to support and reward the funding of public goods by creating open, transparent and free access to the revolutionary funding opportunities available within the Ethereum ecosystem.

In an exclusive interview with NFTMetta, Lila Behr cofounder of Giveth.io said, “I am here because it’s time to use technology for impact. It’s time when we need to unite our minds, our forces, and our hearts to serve humanity and regenerate impact.”

A lot of times people don’t know what happens to what they donate for a good cause leading them to have trust issues. To cater to this problem, Giveth.io and its partners are working on product solutions to show where your money and efforts are being used for bringing a change, Behr revealed.

“We are combining philanthropy with technology and providing a platform that shows transparently where your donation dollars are spent and I think that’s amazing because a lot of times you donate for a good cause and you never know what actually happens with that money,” she said.

On one hand, Giveth.io is looking for projects that are super innovative and impactful and are working toward sustainable goals. And on the other side, they have donors who want to donate to causes that they can trust.

“We onboard both and we divide those projects into milestones such that storytelling, pictures, videos and data verification can show their actual impact on the platform,” she said.

  • Normally I do not read article on blogs, but I would like to say that this write-up very forced me to try and do it! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thanks, very nice article.

  • Throughout the great scheme of things you receive a B+ just for hard work. Where exactly you lost everybody ended up being on the details. As as the maxim goes, the devil is in the details… And that couldn’t be much more true in this article. Having said that, let me reveal to you just what did give good results. Your article (parts of it) is actually extremely powerful which is probably why I am making an effort to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, while I can easily notice the jumps in logic you come up with, I am definitely not certain of how you seem to connect the ideas which in turn make the final result. For now I will yield to your issue however hope in the future you actually link the dots much better.
