“Signal over noise.” It’s more than a tagline—it’s the throughline of BitcoinAsia 2025, the region’s flagship Bitcoin conference, coming to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre August 28–29. This year’s headline speaker: Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and son of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Since its scrappy beginnings in the early 2010s, Bitcoin culture has had its storytellers. Vitalik Buterin, then a curious teenager in Canada, co-founded Bitcoin Magazine in 2012, convincing readers that digital currencies were a movement, not a fad. That publication and producer of the Conference, now owned by Nashville-based BTC Inc., has grown into the engine behind global Bitcoin gatherings, from Miami to Nashville—and, most recently, Hong Kong.

BitcoinAsia debuted here in 2024, drawing thousands of attendees, roughly half traveling from mainland China. Organizers expect even greater turnout this year, reflecting Asia’s position as one of the fastest-growing markets for digital assets, hash power, and adoption. “BitcoinAsia exists to connect the most important voices in Bitcoin to the most dynamic region in the world,” David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., said last year.

Enter Trump, who has emerged as one of Bitcoin’s most visible corporate advocates. Known for managing the sprawling Trump Organization while spearheading high-profile crypto projects, he brings both political cachet and business clout to the stage. His keynote promises commentary on Bitcoin’s role in global finance—and no doubt, a touch of political electricity.

If past editions are any guide, attendees can expect a fusion of policy talk, technical workshops, and a Bitcoin community that prides itself on signal over the static of crypto hype. For more information check out  https://asia.b.tc/.
