Imagine owning a stake in a private consulting firm as easily as buying a share of stock. That is now becoming a reality thanks to a first-of-its-kind blockchain initiative aimed at modernising capital raising in the consulting industry.
UAE-based consultancy, Agile Dynamics, has partnered with ATME to launch a new venture that will enable consulting firms to tokenise their ownership and revenue streams. This innovative move allows investors to acquire fractional rights to earnings, transforming the traditionally opaque world of consulting firm ownership.
Most consulting firms remain privately held, with control concentrated among a few partners. Unlike public firms such as Accenture or Capgemini that are traded on stock markets, about 90 percent of consultancies are closed to external investors. Through this venture, Agile Dynamics and ATME are opening a new path enabling even small investors to own a piece of a consulting business they believe in.
Tokenisation leverages the power of blockchain. Firms can now conduct Security Token Offerings (STOs) via ATME’s platform, which is regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain. Investors who participate will receive digital tokens representing their stake, which can be traded and transferred securely and transparently backed by blockchain’s immutable ledger.
“Tokenisation reimagines how value is created, distributed, and governed in the consulting industry,” says Paul Lalovich, Founding Partner at Agile Dynamics. He emphasises that this model offers access to real business yield using modern, compliant infrastructure. His partner at ATME, Alexey Tartyshev, adds that the approach builds “a blueprint for the future of digital securities in the professional services sector.”
For consulting firms, tokenisation opens up fresh capital-raising routes beyond banking loans or private equity. It also provides a unique opportunity to expand their base of supporters and build a community of investors aligned with their growth.
This new model aligns with broader trends in asset tokenisation. By digitising ownership and revenue shares, businesses are unlocking liquidity, democratising access, and enhancing transparency benefits long sought in the asset industry.
With this pioneering venture, consulting firms are stepping into a new era. Tokenisation could redefine how expertise is valued and financed. If it catches on, it may well become the future of ownership and investment in professional service bringing unprecedented access, agility, and innovation to an industry driven by knowledge.
