Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency trading platform based in Singapore, announced on Wednesday its plans to open a regional office in North America, specifically in Washington, D.C.
The office will be situated in Downtown Washington, D.C., near the White House, as stated by the company.
“The U.S. market is pivotal to Crypto.com’s growth strategy and represents the most promising frontier for our industry. With the current Administration’s evolving regulatory framework and the leadership of key Congressional members, enhancing our presence and workforce in the nation’s capital will aid our joint efforts in responsibly advancing our business and the sector,” remarked Matt David, President of North America and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Crypto.com.
The Washington D.C. office will primarily concentrate on public and government affairs related to its U.S. operations. Initially, it will be staffed by existing personnel, with plans to recruit additional staff in the near future.
This marks the latest addition to Crypto.com’s North American offices, following the establishment of its headquarters in Tyler, Texas, in 2024.
Founded in 2016, Crypto.com serves over 100 million customers globally and aims to promote cryptocurrency adoption through innovation.
