He states, “Blockchain’s decentralised system enables transparent tracking of content distribution and consumption, benefiting both creators and consumers.” Kutaval further notes that blockchain ensures digital assets are protected through cryptographic verification, fostering a fair and transparent environment for content creators and consumers alike.

Several blockchain-based platforms are already reshaping the content creation landscape:
- Audius:
Audius is a music streaming platform built on blockchain technology. It allows artists to upload their music directly to the platform and monetise their work without intermediaries. Fans can stream music, and artists are compensated instantly through smart contracts. This eliminates the hefty fees charged by traditional streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. - Brave Browser:
The Brave Browser integrates the Basic Attention Token (BAT) to revolutionize online advertising. Users are rewarded with BAT for viewing ads, while creators can monetise their content without relying on ad networks. This ensures that creators are fairly compensated and users benefit directly from their attention. - AdEx:

As platforms like Audius, Brave, and AdEx continue to gain traction, they pave the way for a more equitable and efficient content economy. The traditional model of relying on gatekeepers is being replaced by a decentralised, creator-first approach.
