Vietnam aims to establish 20 reputable blockchain brands on regional blockchain technology platforms by the year 2030, as outlined in the recently approved national strategy for the application and development of blockchain technology, according to media reports.
This strategy is designed to ensure that Vietnam can master and implement blockchain technology across all socio-economic sectors, with the ultimate goal of evolving into a stable and prosperous digital nation.
As part of this initiative, the strategy includes plans to construct and upgrade 10 research and training facilities in Vietnam by 2025, focusing on the development of human resources for blockchain technology.
The Southeast Asian nation also plans to maintain a minimum of three blockchain technology testing centers or zones in major urban areas to create a cohesive national blockchain network. Additionally, Vietnam aspires to have representatives among the top 10 blockchain training and research institutions in Asia.
